In addition to advertising, we solicited bids for the purchase of carpet (specifications attached) for four (4) classrooms at South Fulton Elementary We received bids from three (3) companies, which are summarized on the bid request tally sheet. Individual bids were as follows:

R & S Carpets, LLC – $7,750.00
Fulton Decorating – $7,900.00
The Color Shop – $7,657.00

The lowest bid, including installation and disposal of the old carpet, was submitted by The Color Shop in the amount of $7,657.00.

Consider/Approve Carpet Bid for South Fulton Elementary

Individual bids were as follows: R & S Carpets, LLC – $7,750.00 Fulton Decorating – $7,900.00 The Color Shop – $7,657.00 The lowest bid, including installation and disposal of the old carpet, was submitted by The Color Shop in the amount of $7,657.00. Staff Recommendation: We recommend approval of the lowest bid that meets all the specifications.
